For those who hold any connection to Montclair - whether through residency, education, or simply a shared love for this town - we encourage you to show some town pride by accessorizing with the high school’s Royal Blue.

Our Story

Brittany and Jeremy's friendship began at 11 years old in Mr. Turner's homeroom, at Glenfield Middle School. Bonding over their shared passion for music, they spent hours chatting on AIM and exchanging texts through Jeremy's Motorola Razor and Brittany's T-Mobile Sidekick (staples of the time).

Despite Brittany's transfer to Mount Hebron Middle School, the two remained friends. Jeremy in fact, later transferred to Mount Hebron as well- leading to playful speculation that he was following Brittany. Over the years, the two shared many summer nights window-shopping the mansions on South Mountain Ave and taking late-night sandwich runs to QuickChek on Valley Road.

In their senior year of high school, Jeremy asked Brittany to prom. Brittany ironically wore a white dress, unknowingly foreshadowing future wedding attire. In 2020, they took the leap from friends to lovers, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now, as they embark on the journey of marriage, Brittany and Jeremy eagerly look forward to recreating their prom photos a decade later on their wedding day.

Unfortunately, the RSVP deadline has passed, and our venue has finalized the headcount for ​arrangements. We are unable to accept any additional responses at this time.

What is the best way to get to The Montclair Art Museum?

The Montclair Art Museum sits at the corner of South Mountain and Bloomfield Avenue, in ​the heart of Downtown Montclair. Please visit MAM’s site here for directions.

Will there be parking available on site?

Yes, complimentary parking is available on-site. Enter the parking lot through South ​Mountain Avenue.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 5:00 PM sharp.

What is the dress code?

We ask that all of our guests dress in all-black - cocktail chic. See our dress code inspiration ​above for reference. For all guests who have any connection to Montclair (attended school, ​former or current resident etc.) we encourage you to wear royal blue accessories.

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?

The cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the main lawn of The Montclair Art Museum. ​Please consider this when choosing comfortable footwear for grassy terrain. In the event of ​inclement weather, a tent will be set up. The reception will follow indoors.

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone including your little ones, however, due to space ​restrictions we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.
